1. Offer was not the lowest web price. Our Deal Specialists perform a thorough price comparison using Google search, Google Shopping, and doing a quick search on Slickdeals for any previous deal posts of the same or similar product. Before submitting your deal for review, we recommend using the tools listed above to confirm that you are beating or at least matching the same or similar offers that have been available in the past.

2. Previous deal post did not perform well with the community. If you're re-sharing a deal that was previously posted onsite and did not perform well amongst the Slickdeals community, the submission will be rejected. Not performing well can mean it either did not reach Popular or Frontpage status, or it received negative feedback from the community. In cases like this, our Deal Specialists will recommend offering the product at a lower price point, aiming for 10% to 15% or more off.

3. There were discrepancies in the deal post. Our Deal Specialists perform a thorough round of QA-ing each deal submission to ensure included links work properly, the price listed in the post matches the one on the product page, and the information being shared with shoppers is accurate. If promo codes, clipped coupons, etc. are included in the deal post, our team will check to make sure the final price is as indicated in your deal submission after following the redemption instructions.  This helps avoid negative feedback and downvotes from the community. We recommend confirming the information you are providing is correct before submitting your deal to streamline the approval process.

4. Lack of response for "Merchant Action Required" status. It's important that merchants respond to our Deal Specialists in a timely manner. If feedback regarding your deal submission was provided by our team and confirmation on your end is required, we kindly ask that you respond within 1 week, otherwise, the deal submission will be rejected.
